We were very pleased to be invited to attend a special community day at the Foxfield on 14th July to mark the 100 year anniversary of the end of the North Staffordshire Railway (affectionately known as the Knotty). Many thanks to our Blythe Bridge volunteers, Howard, Mick and Austin for helping out on a very wet day.
On the following day we were delighted to accept the offer of First Class travel in the newly renovated Chairman’s Saloon to Dilhorne Park Station and back. We were served drinks and cake by a uniformed butler!
