Our adopted woodland adjacent to Longport Station is a target for fly tippers. The rubbish is clearly visible to people accessing the station and the public right of way from the Newcastle side. So with the help of volunteers from Network Rail and Thales we regularly hire a skip and fill it. This time the volunteers also put up some new signs asking for wildlife to be protected.
