We partnered with the Bumblebee Conservation Trust and St Dominic’s Priory School to install two twin planters at Stone Station and the school. Station volunteers Barbara and Rachel worked with pupils from the school’s Eco Club to select pollinator friendly plants and design the planting arrangement supported by Ron from the Bumblebee Conservation Trust. Thanks to funding from London Northwestern Railway the planters were installed in April and the volunteers and pupils worked together to plant them up with a wonderful assortment of plants including viper’s bugloss, comfrey, rudbeckia and coneflowers. They looked magnificent!
